Getting yourself online is a tough job! You have to know a lot of stuff about codes and the guts of computers and why they do what they do. You don't have to know HOW but why is important. After much consultation with my fellow wizards we are back to talk about pets.
The 'girls', Rosie, Poky and Angel the devil dog, went to the groomers yesterday. They all look clean and brushed today, but are also very tired and act like they were working dogs and yesterday was a double shift. Rosie and Poly are okay with the little green bows, to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day, but Angel was NOT happy. She ran around rubbing her head on her bed, on the wall, on the couch, on anything she could reach until she dislodged the bow. George later picked it up, during the daily run of the 'Insane Cat Posse' that patrols the house at night.
Dogs get kind of yucky and dirty, just being dogs. Even if you bathe them regularly they can get mats and knots of fur in strange places. A good groomer is important. It can be hard to find one who can relate to your animal. Animals have such diverse personalities and quirks, just like humans. It's like finding a good hairdresser, but they have to deal with your whole body. Think about that for a moment.
A good groomer should have pets of their own, and they should like them. They should like your pet too. Your pet should look forward to seeing them again. Our groomer is right next to our vet, so there is a little hesitation until they know which door they're going in. But once they know they're good. Whatever other qualifications they may have are secondary to the fact that your pet should want to see them. If they don't look for someone else.
I'm back to updating our Facebook page. That was fun, trying to figure out how to get our site on Facebook. You know you can build a page, but not an account, and you really can't find that out until you try to delete your account...it's tough being a novice on the net. It's one step at a time, sometimes forward and sometimes back. But you can check us out on Facebook now, at Rosie and Alex Pet Sitting. There are some nice pictures of our friends. We'd like to add more too, so if you have them send 'em on to us. You can email them to me at linda@rosieandalexpetsitting. com. I'll put them in book places.
